Giovanna's inspiring journey began in Lima, Peru, where she was born and raised, acquiring a bilingual education in both English and Spanish. Her first visit to Aspen during a winter break in 2000, while pursuing her Industrial Engineering degree, proved to be a life-changing moment. Instantly captivated by Aspen's charm and welcoming community, she decided to make it her permanent home.
Initially launching her career in banking, Giovanna later transitioned into luxury hospitality, all while earning her Bachelor of Science in Business Management. Her exceptional dedication and talent were recognized with the prestigious 'Club of Excellence: Silver Star Worldwide Award.' By 2020, she had achieved the position of Director of Services at the Hyatt Residence Club Grand Aspen. Driven by a lifelong passion to make a positive impact and help others achieve their goals, Giovanna decided to channel her expertise and personal networks into real estate. As a Colorado Real Estate Broker, she prides herself on delivering the exceptional real estate results her clients deserve, stating, "Watching my clients successfully achieve their goals is undoubtedly the most rewarding work I have ever done."
Giovanna's commitment extends beyond her professional endeavors into deep involvement with the Aspen Valley community. Her philanthropic efforts focus on education, health, and housing. She serves on the Board of Directors for the City of Glenwood Springs Chamber and chairs the Latino Business Advisory Council. Additionally, Giovanna contributes monthly educational real estate articles to "Sol del Valle," the valley's first Spanish-language newspaper. Her past contributions include roles on the Glenwood Springs Housing Commission, WindWalkers Equine Assisted Learning and Therapy Center, and the Colorado Association of REALTORS® Diversity and Inclusion Committee. She also founded and chaired the St. Stephen Catholic School Annual Gala and served as PTA Chair for six years. Giovanna played a significant role in the 'Wine Women and Shoes' and 'Day of Rosé' events, supporting the Shining Stars Foundation.
In recognition of her dedication, Giovanna was nominated for the Garfield County Humanitarian Award in 2024 and won the Roaring Fork Valley Frampton Award for Community Service in the same year at one of the brokerage firms she was affiliated with.
